Class Rules & Regulations

Classroom and gymnasium rules, grading policy, dress code, and conduct guidelines for Mr. Austin's PE program.

General Rules & Regulations

The following rules apply to all students. Failure to comply may result in loss of participation points, parent contact, or administrative referral.

Rule 01

Be on time and ready to participate. Students must be dressed and seated on their assigned spot before the bell rings. Tardiness affects your participation grade.

Rule 02

Respect yourself, classmates, and Mr. Austin at all times. Bullying or disrespectful language will not be tolerated. All students have the right to a safe, supportive environment.

Rule 03

Follow directions the first time they are given. Repeated redirection results in loss of participation points.

Rule 04

No food, drinks, or gum in the gymnasium. Sealed water bottles are the only exception.

Rule 05

No cell phones or electronic devices during class. Devices must be stored before entering the gym. Devices in use will be confiscated.

Rule 06

Take care of all equipment and school property. Misuse or deliberate damage results in disciplinary action and possible replacement cost.

Rule 07

Give 100% effort every day. You are graded on effort and participation, not athletic ability. Refusing to participate significantly affects your grade.

Locker Room Rules

LR 01

Students have 5 minutes to change before and after class. Manage your time wisely.

LR 02

Respect others' privacy. Horseplay or inappropriate behavior results in removal of locker room privileges.

LR 03

Keep your locker locked at all times. The school is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

LR 04

No phones or recording devices in the locker room โ€” ever. Violations result in immediate disciplinary referral.
